How it works
How does El Mundo del Flamenco work?
El Mundo del Flamenco is an international and completely free network connecting flamenco musicians, groups, organizers, companies and fans, with no middlemen. Here is how to get started and what you can do depending on your profile.
1. Create your account
- Click Create account and choose your profile: Musician, Organizer / Company or Fan.
- Fill in your details and your profile. The more complete it is (photos, bio, city, links, videos), the easier it is for people to find you.
- You can switch the language (Spanish / English) at any time from the menu or the footer.
2. If you are a musician or a group
- Professional profile: résumé, bio, instruments and styles, photo and video gallery, links to your social networks and, if you wish, an indicative fee.
- Availability: mark in your calendar the days you can perform.
- Events and applications: browse events published by organizers and apply directly. Follow the status of your applications from your dashboard.
- Groups: create a group or join one, invite other musicians and manage the joint availability of all members. Every group has its own chat.
- Reviews: after an event you can rate the organizer and receive your own rating.
3. If you are an organizer or a company
- Company or venue profile: tablaos, festivals, city councils, academies, shops, flamenco fashion, photographers, producers, weddings and private parties.
- Publish an event: add the date, place, description, image and gallery. Receive applications from artists and choose.
- Find artists: filter by instrument, style, city and date, and write directly to the artist or group. You can also invite them to your events.
- Event room: a conversation space to coordinate the details with the artists involved.
- Reviews: when the event is over, both sides leave a rating to help the community.
4. If you are a fan
- Follow your favourite artists and venues and discover what is new.
- Calendar: check the events of the artists you follow and those near you.
- Reviews: share your opinion about artists and events.
- Interests: tell us what you like about flamenco to get more relevant suggestions.
5. For everyone
- Search: find artists, groups, events, organizers and communities by type, place and date.
- Messages: chat privately with other users and receive notifications in your dashboard and by email.
- Communities: create or join themed communities to share news, photos and conversation with other fans and professionals.
- Advertising (optional): if you want more visibility for your project, you can buy a banner in the advertising section. It is the only paid service; payment is made by card (Stripe) or PayPal.
6. Security and privacy
- All forms are protected against spam and your data is handled according to our Privacy and Cookie Policy.
- You can choose which third-party services (maps, videos, fonts) to allow from the cookie icon.
7. Need help?
If something does not work or you do not know how to do it, go to Support and tell us about the problem (you can attach a screenshot) and our team will reply. If you have an account you will see the answer in your dashboard and get a notification; otherwise we will answer you by email.
